Forever Wild—2006

Forever Wild--2006 is now touring America. We are visiting all fifty states this year celebrating our nation’s rich natural legacy through nearly 100 free events.  Working with hundreds of community and conservation organizations from coast to coast we are working to draw attention to the three pillars of our wilderness heritage: wild lands, wild waters, and wild lives.

Each show shares the magic of the wild country via Forever Wild, an award-winning multimedia concert featuring wilderness troubadour, Walkin’ Jim Stoltz. His photographs, songs and stories (from 26,000 miles of backcountry walking) have been inspiring audiences across America for more than twenty years.  Joining Jim this year will be a wide variety of guest musicians, poets, authors, and personalities.  Each event is a major celebration of nature, from the vast distances of far-away wilderness to the secrets found in your own backyard.

In celebrating this wonderful Earth, we bring seeds of hope, currents of care, and motivation for action through Call For The Wild, a campaign to inspire and encourage a concerned public to call and write letters to their leaders on behalf of wildlands issues. Please visit Call For the Wild to find out how you can take part and stand up for America's wild things.

Your voice makes a difference. Please join our chorus of supporters.
